At our recent AGM a number of our officers, including the co-ordinators, were standing down from their current roles, and as yet we have no replacements.  However, we will be continuing as a group, and we're confident that we will soon have a new co-ordinator.  Additionally, we will be changing our meeting venue.  Watch this space!!!

National Climate March

Members of our group took part in the National Climate March, December 08.  The March had four main themes: No to a 3rd runway at Heathrow.  No to new coal.  No to the expansion of agrofuels.  Yes to a renewable energy revolution.

A BIG THANKS to everyone who took part in the Big Ask campaign, those who: sent postcards or wrote to their MPs, went to marches, got others to sign postcards, attended public meetings, took part in publicity stunts, went to lobby their MP in person, etc. etc.  Together WE DID IT!    For more details and what's happening next, please go to the Climate Change/Renewables page.
