National Climate March

Our group will be taking part in the National Climate March on Saturday 6th December at 12 noon.  The main themes of the march are:  No to a 3rd runway at Heathrow, no to new coal and no to the expansion of agrofuels.   This year WKCFOE will be accompanied by a clown and musicians.  This is a FUN day out that gives a SERIOUS message to the government, the MORE the MERRIER!  We are meeting in Grosvenor Square by the Roosevelt memorial at 11.45am.  Map of meeting point.

A BIG THANKS to everyone who took part in the Big Ask campaign, those who: sent postcards or wrote to their MPs, went to marches, got others to sign postcards, attended public meetings, took part in publicity stunts, went to lobby their MP in person, etc. etc.  Together WE DID IT!    For more details and what's happening next, please go to the Climate Change/Renewables page.

Members of our group staged an action on the Kings Road to raise awareness of aircraft emissions being excluded from the Climate Change Bill.  We depicted a blind and deaf Gordon Brown refusing to look at the evidence or listen to reason.
